Spanish House 1

This house was very much designed around a large pool which covers a major part of the garden.

The pool bar formed the centre point of the house, radiating across the pool to the house.

The ground floor contained three bedrooms, a large lounge and dining area. The kitchen and entrance hall radiated away from the core of the building, with covered parking and servants’ quarters.

Radiating around the inner face of the building following the pool is a wall of glass sliding doors to completely open, giving access to a glazed balcony and access down to the pool.

Each of the three bedrooms contained large ensuites and storage cupboards and their own balcony with private access to the pool.

From the entrance hall via a large winding staircase access was gained to the upper floor.

The first floor contained three large bedrooms, which whilst not having direct access to the pool, contain small galleries with sleeping areas for the children of visiting guests.

To the right of the upper floor are a sun lounge and a quiet lounge allowing visitors the ability to escape for quite moments.

The pool divides into two sections, to the right is a shallow area for children to play safely to the left the deeper area for adult swimming. The two areas are divided by steppingstones which give access to the circular bar.

The basement contains a fully equipped gymnasium and sauna with glazed panels looking onto the pool.
